Aoshima 20227 1/24 FX-4 London Black Cab '68 (MODEL CAR No.68)

The London Taxi, known as "the most beautiful cab in the world," is an old fashioned design with a classic appearance and high ride height.The history of the London Taxi dates back to the horse-drawn carriage era, some 300 years ago. It was not until 1958 that the British government officially approved this car as a "designated cab", but its basic styling remains almost unchanged from the old car that was introduced in 1948, conveying the design of the good old days to the present. It has a large body but is very maneuverable, with a minimum turning radius of 3.8 meters, about the same as a mini-car. It was imported to Japan in the 1990s, and can still be seen at wedding halls around the country.
