AMMO by Mig Jimenez 8937 1/72 PANZER KOTE Zimmerit Tools

Panzer Kote Zimmerit Tools are designed to accurately reproduce the distinctive Zimmerit textures found on WWII German armoured vehicles. This set is designed for 1/72 scale models, with versions also available for 1/35, 1/48, and 1/16 scales.

The set includes eight specialised engraving accessories made from high-quality 3D-printed resin:
- 4 parallel-line rollers
- 2 parallel-line stamps of different widths
- 1 waffle-pattern stamp
- 1 square-grid stamp
- Ergonomic 3D-printed handle
- 3D-printed resin adapter head
- Nuts and washers for mounting the rollers

The tools can reproduce ridge, square, and waffle Zimmerit patterns. They can be used with various modelling putties, although epoxy putty is recommended for best results.

How to Use:
1. Mix the epoxy putty thoroughly and apply a thin, even layer approximately 0.4mm thick for 1/72 scale.
2. Work in sections if the putty cures quickly.
3. Apply gentle pressure with the roller to create the characteristic grooves. Lightly moisten the tools with Enamel Odourless Thinner A.MIG-2019 to help prevent sticking.
4. Make a second pass with the roller if a more irregular texture is required.
5. Use the stamps for hard-to-reach or complex areas where rollers are unsuitable.
6. Combine rollers and stamps as required to create consistent Zimmerit textures across irregular surfaces.
