Stalinets-2
The Stalinets STZ-5 was a medium tracked artillery tractor used by the Red Army during WW2.
The STZ-5 or "NATI" was manufactured at the Stalingrad Tractor Works (STZ) between 1937 and 1942 and over 9000 units were produced.
The Stalinets STZ-5 was used to tow different models of guns and howitzers.

M1931 B-4 howitzer
The M1931 B-4 was an artillery howitzer with a calibre of 203 mm (8 inches) and a firing range of 18 km (11 miles) that was characterised by its self-propelled, chain-driven gun carriage that allowed it a small, slow range (for precise positioning). For long distances, these large guns were usually towed by Red Army artillery tractors.
German soldiers called it Stalin's sledgehammer because of its power. This forcefulness was acquired in the Russo-Finnish war where it was used to turn the Finnish bunkers into a jumble of cement and iron.
Production began in 1932 and a total of 1011 units were produced up to 1942.
