Drums and Crates 5087 1/35 Recon Kubelwagen KdF Type 82/3
During World War II, the Germans built some variants of their famous Kubelwagen for different functions.
This version, known as the KdF type 82/3, was a version armed for reconnaissance, which was used on the Russian front. It was also used as a tank decoy "Panzer Attrappe", adding extensions on the sides that simulated chains.
It had a metal roof welded to the body and included a rotating turret armed with an MG 34. The doors were also welded and entry was through a porthole at the rear.
The kit includes all the parts to build this vehicle, including the detailed interior.
