Meng TS059 1/35 French FT 75 BS Light Tank

As World War I was drawing to a close in 1918, France developed the FT 75 BS (Blockhaus Schneider) by mounting a 75mm howitzer on the chassis of the FT-17 tank. The original small turret was replaced with a fixed, widened fighting compartment housing a short-barreled 75mm howitzer. With a maximum range of 2,100 meters, the weapon was effective in destroying enemy strongpoints, machine gun posts, and light fortifications.
Although only produced in limited numbers, the FT 75 BS marked an important step in the early development of self-propelled artillery. It left a lasting imprint on the history of armored warfare.
This latest MENG TS-059 1/35 French FT 75 BS model will be about 142mm long, 52mm wide and 65mm high. This kit includes cement-free workable track links and fine PE parts. The fixed casemate and main gun are replicated in precision resin parts.
