Disc Camo Stencil Set for 1/35, Panther G late, Befehlspanther as seen on "R01"

DCP-35 is designed to make the representation of the german late war "Licht und Schatten Tarnung" a.k.a. "Disc pattern camouflage" possible on the easy way. It saves time and fiddly drawing and cutting.

This product is a masking stencil and made for application of complex camo schemes via airbrush.
Compared to products based on dry transfer technology, DCP-35 allows you to keep you freedom regarding your choice of colours. With DCP-35 one can tone and filter all the colours evenly and you do not need to consider various properties of various materials. Colour coats applied with DPC-35 will have the same features as those you are used to, allowing you to set efffects via hairspray or salt masking.

The stencils are very flexible and allow you an easy approach to areas with complex details. Please consider engine compartment decks covered with grills and vents for instance.
With this type of product you can paint your model in "Colour Modulation Style" or "Zenithal light" very easy. DPC-35 allows you to to applicate colour coats the same way as performed in the ancient factories.
Its up to you which tone or brightness you think its best.

how it works
1. Paint your model the way you want and give it a basecoat following your personal preference, style and taste.
2. Prepare your basecoat the way you want it. Mid-war, late-war, after-war...who cares. Everything is possible.
3. Give it a go with the color of you choice. Acrylics recommended.

How-to:
Preparing the masks: Masks should not be stretched during the application process as they are flexible and this could cause deformation. Remove the whole mask if necessary, and then apply again. Once placed on the model, the mask surface should be adjusted to the surface of the model by tracing all the indentations with a pointed wooden stick.
Painting method: Try not to apply two coats of color at the edges of a mask. Instead, apply one color prior to painting the proper camouflage, and apply the other color after the mask is back on. Otherwise, the coating in the areas encased by the mask may be too thick, and after removing the mask the edges of the lighter color may become visible.
