R Model 35170J 1/35 US Sherman M4 Tank Metal Tracks w/Pins

Our R Model's track sets are distinct for exclusively using brass pins, setting them apart from the more commonly supplied stainless steel pin versions by other retailers. This choice enhances both the appearance and functionality in several key ways:

- Precision and Detail: Brass pins come with more details due to its malleability compared to stainless steel. This means that these track links feature more intricate designs, contributing to the overall realism of your models.
- Natural Weathering: Brass pins are predisposed to oxidise over time, a property that stainless steel pins lack. This oxidation process enables modellers to achieve a range of weathered looks easily, adding to the authenticity of the model's appearance without requiring additional treatments.
- Enhanced Aesthetics: The natural aging process of brass lends a realistic, time-worn look to the tracks, enhancing the visual depth and historical accuracy of your models.
- Durability with Authenticity: While both materials are durable, brass pins offer a unique combination of structural integrity and the ability to age naturally, balancing longevity with aesthetic appeal.
