- With a lack of constructor teams due to Alfa Romeo withdrawing for the season, F2 regulations were used instead for the F1 season of 1952. In order to accommodate with regulation changes, Ferrari developed a new 4 cylinder in-line engine and a new machine to house the engine - the 500F2. The 500F2 would win both the 1952 and 1953 seasons under the hands of driver Alberto Ascari. Ascari managed to win all races in the 1952 season starting from the 3rd round, allowing him to be crowned the first Ferrari F1 champion after 6 straight victories.
- Based on Ferrari's first champion machine, the 500F2, that A.Ascari drove to victory at the British GP and Italian GP in 1952. Differences in body cowl and aerodynamic parts between both races all included in kit.
- A full detailed, multi-material kit featuring white metal, resin, etching, turned parts, rubber tires, decals and various cords allowing for maximum representation of the original vehicle.
- Aluminum turned parts used for wheel rim, engine funnel, meters, wheel shaft and locknut.
- Wire wheel built using a combination of aluminum turned wheel rim parts and metal wires for spokes, allowing for realistic representation.
- Engine cowl can be remove post construction, allowing full view of the detailed interior after completion.
- Decals printed by Cartograf. Tires come pre-printed with maker logo.
