Answering the call of Pope Urban II, young knights and their retinues assembled across Europe and set out for Jerusalem. They believed in the ideals of what they were fighting for in a way few of the later crusades could claim. Their fervour carried them all the way to Jerusalem and established the crusader states on the Mediterranean coast. The next four hundred years would see intermittent and widely disparate crusades across the world. Kit features 34 unpainted figures-on foot and mounted-in various poses.
