2 decal version for Romania Aeroclub

Nadia Russo was a Romanian military pilot, a member of the White Squadron, which flew ambulance aircraft on the Eastern Front. She was the ninth person in Romania to receive a pilot's license. In 1937, she purchased a Bucker Bu 131, half of the purchase price being paid by the Romanian Ministry of Aviation and the other half by public donations. With her aircraft, Nadia successfully represented Romania. In 1938, she flew in the Race of the Little Entente States and was the only competitor to fly 4,000 kilometers. For this, King Carol II awarded her the Order of "Aviation Virtue" of Peace, the Golden Cross.
In 1938, she was invited to join a new, all-female flying team that became known as the White Squadron. The other four women who joined her were Mariana Dragescu, Virginia Thomas, Marina Stirbei and Irina Burnaia. She also flew during the Stalingrad Campaign. In 1943, she left the White Squadron due to illness. During her service, she saved the lives of more than 1,500 wounded soldiers.
After the war, despite her wartime heroism, Nadia Russo was prosecuted along with other air force officers. In 1951, she was sentenced to seven years in prison and spent the next six years in prisons in Mislea and Miercurea Ciuc in Romania.
