The battleship USS North Carolina was the first battleship built by the U.S. Navy following the naval disarmament treaties, marking a return to battleship construction after a 17-year gap since the Colorado-class. Armed with nine 16-inch guns in three turrets, twenty 5-inch dual-purpose guns, and advanced radar systems, she was one of the most cutting-edge warships at the outbreak of the Pacific War.
Now faithfully recreated as a 1/700 scale plastic model kit, the USS North Carolina features a streamlined parts layout that balances simplicity with precision-making it easy to assemble while accurately capturing the ship's iconic form. The real vessel remains preserved and visible to this day.
