Fujimi KG-43 EX-1 1/700 IJN Aircraft Carrier Unryu Full Hull with PE Parts

Unryu was completed at Yokosuka Naval Arsenal in August 1944 as the first ship of the Unryu class. Based on the Hiryu design, she incorporated changes including a starboard-side island, a twin-rudder arrangement similar to Soryu, and a reduction from 3 elevators to 2. From completion, she carried a distinctive anti-submarine camouflage scheme. In December 1944, Unryu departed on an emergency transport mission carrying supplies, including Ohka special attack aircraft, but was sunk by a US submarine in the East China Sea.
