1/700 IJN Battleship Yamato 1941 Commemorative Package
The package is a photo of the actual ship, different from the previous product, taken during the Yamato sea trials in October 1941.
As an appendix, a background paper for displaying the completed ship (one side full color background picture, one side monochrome actual photo) is provided.
The size of the background paper is approximately 141 x 556 mm and U-shaped.

The product is in the form of the ship when it was completed in December 1941, shortly after the Pacific War began. The bottom and hull parts are divided at the waterline, so both a sea model and a full hull model can be made.
The difference in shape from the final version and the 1944 version is reproduced using special parts.

The hull is divided into left and right parts, and is divided at the waterline. It is molded in a special gray color that imitates the warship color used at the Kure Naval Arsenal.
The portholes are made into special parts in the state before they were blocked off as a later measure to make the ship unsinkable, and many portholes are reproduced with sharp carvings.
The outside electrical wiring attached to the side of the ship is faithfully represented even to the fastening parts.
The bottom of the ship is made into a one-piece part using a slide mold. No need to process the seams.
The bulbous bow at the bow is realistically reproduced with a three-dimensional shape. The rudder is three-dimensional with a square shape different from that of the third ship, Shinano. The surface of the rudder is full of precision, with the seams of the steel plates also expressed. The main gun can be elevated and rotated. Achieves both a minimum number of parts and realistic modeling. The direction of the 46 cm main gun barrel is in an open state using a slide mold. A special part is prepared for the main gun canopy without the additional machine gun turret installed. The secondary gun can be rotated, and the barrel and turret are one-piece structure. The bridge is divided and slide molded to minimize the seams between the parts, and the parts are integrated. The bridge parts also come with a special item that reproduces the signal command post, a feature of the completed ship. The 15 meter rangefinder and compass are designed to be rotatable. The signal deck behind the bridge is prepared with a small area special part for the completed ship. The funnel is a left-right combination type, and the steam exhaust pipe, whistle pipe, and monkey ladder are all integrated into the funnel. The top cap (lattice) is removed for a very realistic model with a sense of depth.

Two types of aircraft are included in the set with dedicated dark green color parts.
One each of the Zero (three-seat) seaplane reconnaissance aircraft and the Zero observation aircraft.
The panel lines are concavely engraved, and the propeller is integrated with the aircraft using a slide mold for precise expression.
Pre-cut stickers with excellent adhesion are included, making it easy to paint the details.
Includes waterproof canvas for the main and secondary guns, a walkway behind the No. 3 main gun, a naval ensign, and a carrier-based aircraft Hinomaru mark.
A pedestal designed with an inconspicuous black straight line tone is included for display after completion.
Bonus adhesive parts are included for users who want a more precise look. Bonus parts include 26 machine gun ammunition boxes, a mast support, and an aerial support on the secondary gun canopy.

Molded parts are available in 6 colors. (Kure Naval Arsenal color, ship bottom color, black, white, wooden deck color, dark green)
