Fujimi WN-1 EX-1 1/700 IJN Battleship Yamato 1945 Operation Ten-Ichi-Go Special Version with PE Parts
This 1/700 scale kit reproduces Yamato as she appeared during Operation Ten-Go in April 1945. Colour-separated parts and snap-fit construction allow a realistic finish without painting or glue. Photo-etched detail parts and a dedicated sea-surface display base are included.
Kit Features:
- Hull moulded in grey representing Kure Naval Arsenal Grey, with dedicated hull sides reproducing the numerous sealed portholes of the 1945 configuration
- Main guns can elevate and rotate, with open 46cm gun barrel muzzles
- Dedicated No.2 and No.3 turret roofs reproduce the additional anti-aircraft gun positions
- Secondary turrets can rotate
- Detailed bridge with relocated Type 22 radar, enlarged signal deck, additional crew shelter, and rotatable 15m rangefinder/director
- Detailed funnel with integrated steam pipes, whistle pipes, ladders, and open top grille
- Two-piece mast incorporates the Type 13 radar
- Includes 1 Type 0 three-seat reconnaissance seaplane and 1 Type 0 observation seaplane
- Dedicated clear blue sea-surface base reproduces bow waves, hull-side water effects, and propeller wake
