The product is an unpainted kit that requires adhesive assembly and painting.
The scale is 1/350, and it is a full hull style including the bottom of the ship.
-The product can reproduce the appearance during the Battle of Midway in June 1945.
- Comes with a special decal including the Japanese flag drawn on the front edge of the flight deck for identification.
-A total of 75 carrier-based aircraft are included, including 21 Zero fighters, 27 Ninety-nine bombs, and 27 Ninety-seven attack aircraft, which were actually used during MI operations.
-Can be made with modeling expression unique to the large scale of 1/350.
-The hull/bottom is integrated, and the left and right sides are glued together.
-The seams and thickness of the armor plates on the side and the steel plate on the bottom of the ship are expressed, and the water supply and drainage ports are expressed on the bottom.
-The flight deck consists of 3 pieces: front, middle, and rear.
-The front steel deck part has concave carvings to express the seams. It also expresses the preparation modeling of catapult equipment.
-The wooden deck in the center of the flight deck has delicate carvings to recreate the appearance of the planks being stretched.
-The rear end has a convex mold with a non-slip strip pattern.
-The landing brake cable and skid control device are reproduced with the included photo-etched parts.
- You can choose between two types of windshield fences: standing up and down, and when standing up, the back side is also shown.
-The truss structure behind the flight deck is a separate part from the flight deck, and is available in front and rear positions.
-The crane on the back of the stern flight deck has a one-piece rail and multiple separate support columns, giving it a hollow feel.
- Bow flight deck support can be set to 4 or 6.
-The bow anchor deck uses metal parts in addition to plastic parts.
-The linoleum floor in the rear part of the ship and part of the side sponsons expresses the hold-downs with delicate carvings.
-The floor of the 12.7cm high-angle gun emplacement has a strip pattern that is well reproduced with a convex mold.
-The carrier-based aircraft elevator can be selected from two positions: ascending state and upper hangar position.
-The elevator also has a molded eye ring for fixing the carrier aircraft.
-The bridge has a structure where the base is divided into left and right parts, and the upper layer is made of stacked parts, with molding all around.
- The appearance of binocular telescopes lined up at the top is expressed using separate telescope parts.
-The searchlights and compass bridge windows installed on the bridge are transparently molded.
-The chimney consists of two parts, upper and lower, to express the depth of the flue.
-The 25mm machine gun is composed of 4 parts, and the split parts make it more realistic.
-The 12.7cm high-angle gun (with shield) has separate parts for the shield and gun barrel.
-The 12.7cm high-angle gun is composed of 6 parts, and the parking device/propeller on the gun barrel is also shaped.
- The rudder reproduces the unevenness and curved surface of the surface and frame part.
- Three types of carrier-based aircraft are included: Type 0 carrier-based fighter 21 type, Type 99 carrier-based bomber, and Type 97 carrier-based attack aircraft.
- There are three types of decals included, including flight deck white lines and carrier aircraft markings.
-One pre-cut paper sticker including signal flags, military flags, and general flags is included.
