The balls and the chain comes separate. Metal bending will be required. The chain length is enough for modelling chain with 3/4/5 links chains, depending on which part of the model you use it.

Balls are the same type/size as the ones that Hobby Boss supplies in their kits, but the chain is more adequate to the size of the real tank scaled down. Shown on the picture with arrows and description. The rail you see on the pictures with B&C sets attached is from the original Hobby Boss kit and is NOT INCLUDED in the sets.
