The back of the pencil has a built-in sharpener, so you can easily sharpen each color. You can also use coarse sand paper which is faster and allows you to adapt the tip to each technique and effect applied.
The application is straightforward and intuitive. Draw the effect and blend it with a brush dampened with water, or wet the lead tip beforehand to apply the effect directly, then adjust it with a damp brush. If you're unsatisfied with the result, it can be easily removed with water.
For optimal results, we recommend using the leads on a matte surface for better grip. They can be applied as final weathering effects, but if you plan to layer additional ''wet'' weathering techniques with water or thinners on top, protect your work with a thin layer of varnish.
