I thought this product may be a good substitute for blue tac but not so. It doesn't hold it's shape for long and collapses into a blob. It's not easy to break off a piece and becomes stringy in the process.
Obviously this product will work for some but if you have a lot of masking to do on your model it may not be what you are looking for.
