Tamiya 24379 1/24 BMW 320i Racing Car
BMW took on the 1976 World Championship for Makes with the 3.0CSL. While Porsche claimed both the Division 3 title for cars over 3,000cc and the Division 2 title for those between 2,000cc and 3,000cc, BMW returned in 1977 with the 320i Racing for a renewed challenge. The 320i Racing made its debut at the opening race of the 1977 season, the 24 Hours of Daytona, and went on to develop a heated rivalry with Porsche in the 2-litre class.
