Bravo6 35327 1/35 L1A1 SLR Self-Loading Rifle (4pcs)

These L1A1s are absolutely beautiful; the detail is amazing. The construction of the carrying handle is fiddly (should have been a 1 piece casting), but I have some leftover ones from the Dragon Vietnam weapons set to replace them with (broke the barrels on that set trying to remove them from the sprue). Incidentally, I was worried about that same problem with these, breaking the barrels removing them from the sprue,but using a new knife blade and very light pressure, they separated with no problem. The slings and bayonets are also fiddly photo etch; just take your time if you use them. These weapons are essential if you do Cold War British era figures or even vehicles. I do mostly BAOR/ Northern Ireland and Falklands subjects, so they will come in handy. One rifle even has a field dressing taped to the butt as was seen commonly in the Falklands - nice touch. I just wish these weren't so hard to come by; I could use several sets.
