This is a plastic model kit, which comes unassembled and unpainted. So glue, model paints and other basic modelling tools are additionally required.

Similarly to RAF, the FAA put in service double seat, turret equipped fighter prior the outbreak of the WW2. RAF fighter Defiant was wasn't too successful. The naval Blackburn Roc Mk.I fighter developed from Skua Mk.II fighter bomber was a real failure. It was soon withdrawn from combat units and transferred to second line and training units. Even though, it was a part of the Royal Navy's equipment in the beginning of the WW2.
