Takom 2133 1/35 Merkava Mk.2D Main Battle Tank

Takom's very respectably price Merkava line is a real eye opener to today's modern tooling... Incredibly crisp detail and fine parts just shows what modern tooling can produce... Photoetch, Link and Length Tracks, metal tow cables all included. Part count is on the high side but not outta control given the complexities of modern armour as a subject. The plastic is a little on the hard side and some pieces are incredibly fine resulting in breakages because of the brittleness of the plastic... Given its price point I'd have no objection in recommending this kit to a mid to advance level modeller however if you want a fast build probablygo towards the Tamiya offering... Sprues include other components of its earlier variants also allowing a bit of uniqueness to your build by using an odd roadwheel here and there... Thoroughly enjoyed this one and a great seaway into modern armour if your looking for a change in subject...
