The Range Rover Classic was a milestone in the history of off-road vehicles. It was produced in numerous variants and versions from 1970 to 1996. It was the first vehicle to bear the "Range Rover" brand and, from 1981, was available in two- and four-door versions. Thanks to its 4x4 drive and its robust, simple yet highly reliable structure, the Range Rover had good off-road performance. Used by law enforcement agencies and police departments, it was ideal for operating in the countryside, in parks, and in rural areas. Much appreciated by crews during long patrols and for carrying out special operations, including transporting dog units. In the 1980s and 1990s, it became a true symbol of British policing, its reassuring presence throughout the country.
