The serial aircraft were assigned to the training squadron of the 4th Aviation Regiment in Hradec Kralove and to the VLU in Prostejov and Cheb. After the division of the republic and the occupation in March 1939, the Bs.122.27 and Bs.122.44 aircraft remained in Slovakia.
